Coming Soon - The Blood Brothers Present: The Master of Horror
Okay, so we've signed and sent the agreement for the rights, signed and sent the agreement for the space, and made our payments for both, so I'm now good and ready to tell you bitches what we're up to this fall.
Nosedive Productions will once present its annual Blood Brothers Present show. This year, it will be The Blood Brothers Present: The Master of Horror. Mac Rogers, Qui Nguyen and Yours Truly will be adapting short stories by none other than Mr. Stephen King.
Yup. Mr. King's people have given us the green light and we'll be doing an evening of King-adapted plays.
The Blood Brothers Present: The Master of Horror goes up for four weekends (Thursdays through Saturdays, October 9 through November 1) at the Gene Frankel Underground on 24 Bond Street (between Bowery and Lafayette). All shows will be at 7:30 p.m.
Considering Stephen King has been one of my favorite authors of all time (his books were the first - and for a while, only - that I would buy in hardcover as soon as they came out; I couldn't wait for the paperback editions and wouldn't check them out in a library), to say that I am right chuffed about this project is putting it mildly.
Anyway, it is freakin on. More details to come.
